As you are aware, the Washington State
PTA office is moving. According to the IRS, it is the local unit/council
responsibility to notify the IRS of the change to the State PTA office
address. To make this process easier, the WSPTA has prepared a letter for you
to send the IRS. Please download
this letter, date the top, sign the bottom (and
include your PTA position) and send to the IRS as soon as possible. Upon
receipt of this letter, the IRS should make the appropriate change(s) in
their records. It would be very helpful if you would send a
copy of the letter to the State PTA office. Thank you for your patience and understanding
