New Sales Tax Form

The Washington State Department of Revenue brought back an old form this year, which could be beneficial to local units.  This form is very simple and would replace the Combined Excise Tax Return that is due January 31, 2014.  A local unit may file the Sales Tax Remittance Return form if it meets the following criteria: Gross business activity totaled less than $28,000. Owe less than $2,000 retail sales tax.
