WSPTA Office is Moving

As you are aware, the Washington State PTA office is moving. Please note the new address and phone number of the Washington State PTA: 1304 South Fawcett Avenue Suite 300, Tacoma, Washington  98402; phone 253-214-7410. The Washington State PTA office will be closed from Noon on February 21 to Noon on February 25 for the move.  According to the IRS, it is the local unit/council responsibility to notify the IRS of the change to the State PTA office address. To make this process easier, the WSPTA has prepared a letter for you to send the IRS. Please download this letter, date the top, sign the bottom (and include your PTA position) and send to the IRS as soon as possible. Upon receipt of this letter, the IRS should make the appropriate change(s) in their records. It would be very helpful if you would send a copy of the letter to the State PTA office.  If the WSPTA office is your registered agent for the Secretary of State Charities Program or Secretary of State Corporation Division, the address change has been taken care of for you.
